Welcome Back to School Ivy Leaguers! We have just begun the 2019-2020 school year. Whether you attended camp, traveled, or simply enjoyed time relaxing with friends and family, we hope you had a fabulous summer.
We were happy to see so many students with both familiar and new faces on the first day of school. Additionally, we have welcomed back a handful of teacher assistants, four new preschool/pre-kindergarten teachers, a new Middle School Social Studies teacher, and a specials teacher who will be working with students in both Art and Home and Careers.
These teachers and teaching assistants bring exceptional ideas, experience, and passionate love of learning to our school community. They will make great members of the Ivy League family!
While it seems as though we have not skipped a beat here at Ivy League, it is amazing to see our previous students growing up and moving on to tackle new grade levels. We are also excited to get to know the new students! We are thrilled to watch the friendships that form. Especially as students begin to create memories with their peers.
Back to school Picnic
A great way to spend time together outside of the classroom is the Welcome Back to School Family Picnic. The picnic is hosted by Ivy League on Friday, September 13, 2019 (rain date: September 20, 2019).
This is a wonderful chance for families, faculty, and staff to mingle, catch up, establish new friendships and enjoy some time together. The picnic is a potluck, so bring whatever your family’s favorite is to enjoy under the tent.
The 2019-2020 school year is already packed full! Lessons, activities, field trips and more that will have our students so eager to come to school each day. All of the teachers here at Ivy League are ready to challenge our students. We want to help them have a positive and successful year both inside and outside of our classrooms!Tags: Picnic, School
